My new Ameraucana is 4 months old and I have had her since Sunday she was never a outside before now and when I purchased her he said that its fine and its ok for her to start eat the laying food with my other two hens. She eats plenty of food and grass and bugs plenty of water she doesn't seem like its bothering her she still runs and trys to fly around the yard. BUT WHATS WRONG red watery stool is it blood, reaction to food what!?

Hmmm.... maybe she's simply adjusting to the new diet, opr she ate something (red dirt?) that's coloring her poop...???

I'd keep an eye on it, though. Our 9-week EE had some dark red in her poop a while ago that turned out to be blood and it was coccidiosis. She went downhill fast but then we had a fecal float test done, diagnosed, and treated with Sulmet. She seems fine now. If it continues I'd say take a sample to a vet for a fecal test.

Best wishes

One of my layers pooped red this spring...not sure if it was blood, looked like it. I just kept an eye on it and it never happened again...haven't lost any, so all is good.
