This is our first adventure in to tukey raising...when they were small they were bad butt pickers--everyone eventually stopped and the butts all cleared up except for one. She still has a swollen backside, there aren't any feathers around it and it seems as though she has trouble pooping (they are free range/with chickens). She squats and it seems like she's straining and sometimes you can hear her expel a little wind. She's smaller than the other hens...she eats and drinks. Sometimes she looks lethargic and not as peppy as the others. Not sure what to do. Is it possible this is a result from the constant picking when they first arrived? Thanks!
