4 month old ISA brown wont stand or walk - PICS INCLUDED

The vet had to collapse it. There was no way it was going out on its own. She has basically no pelvic separation... it is probably going to be a recurring problem but I'm going to try to give her time to develop/separate
Yikes!!!!! I am so sorry about your girl. And wow egg bound so young I never would have guessed that!! Hopefully it isn't a recurring problem for her!

Hi, I realize that this is an old thread but I wanted to add to it just in case anyone happens across it as I did.
Sometimes it's a deficiency of vitamins and nutridrench can help but it can take a while to work.
Another thought that I had is she could have sustained an injury from another vigorous bird. I had one last summer that was injured from an especially rough young pullet who jumped off of a perch onto her buddy. It's also an age where they like to establish their pecking order and it's a good idea to try to watch their behaviors.
I'm sorry about your pullet.

Hey there, I realize this is old but one of my little chickies has the exact same symptoms! I am trying to research how to help... She's only a couple weeks old... She is very lethargic, won't stand on her feet at all, and sleeps a lot. She does eat and drink just fine which is really encouraging! I just don't know how to help her other than keep her separate from the others and give her extra care. If there's any new information that anyone has I would really welcome it!

You may get more looks by starting a new thread and adding pictures and more info. Here is where to do that:

Try some vitamins with riboflavin (B2) which is in some chick vitamins and you also may use crushed human super B Complex 1/4 tablet daily. Chick slings can help to get them up.
