4 month old peachick?

hello.

i have got a 4 month old peachick, who i have wormed on pumping seeds, i feed the seeds, last week and this week, so is he ready to go outside? he is feathered. thank you,

I think your peachick would be fine if you took it outside and it was supervised but it is too small to free-range 24/7 if you were planning on doing that.

Why I say he is too small to live free-range right now 24/7 is hawks. Hawks can get small peafowl but once he is fully grown he will be fine if you were planning on free-ranging.

i was planning for him to first go in a secure outdoor pen, so he could get used to being outside, then i would move him in with the other peacocks, in the other avairy. i donnt let my peacocks free range because i live right next to a road, and i worry about them getting hit

Beautiful boy.

Mine hatched in july ,

they have always been outside but not on the ground, i put them in their ground pen 2 weeks ago and i feel much better.LOL they love it, i will be turning them loose when i think they are ready.
This is their home till i turn um loose
