I had a 4 month old polish pullet that suddenly died today. She was healthy, as far as I could tell, eating and drinking fine, and perky this morning. When we did chores this evening she was dead. There are no signs of trauma, and her pen mates seem just fine. They just finished an amprol treatment 2 weeks ago (as far as I know they weren't affected, but I had 1 pen that was so I treated everyone). I would just love to hear what others make of it, as I lost almost a whole group of silkies this spring that were the same age and similar symptoms, and it is starting to get frustrating to see them die after I've gotten attached to them.
