) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.) 4 month old, white crested black polish bantam, great weight, lot's of energy.
2) What is the behavior, exactly. Starting limping three days ago, we have isolated her to restrain movement. One leg was hotter then the other, so we didn't pay attention for a disease. Except that the eyes contour was showing little redness. It can be cause by the friction of the feather. But it tend to rise...
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? three days, and limping is tending to rise
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms? Not at all.
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. No
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation. No idea
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. Eat a lot, drink ok, having small doses of liquid babies multi-vitamins
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. Look great, but smell weird according to my wife.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? Nothing yet, just starting feeling this is probably more the just a wound or leg problem.
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? We can still treat the bird for the moment, but if we didn't see quick improvement, we'll have to go at the vet. But we are always disappointed.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help. Will add some...
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use Wood chip, without dust

I know a sprained foot can take weeks to heal, just want to make sure, I'm not missing anything in my 'troubleshooting" chicken list. thank for your help.
