This is our first time using the Hova-incubator and Americanus eggs from a friends chickens and we've landed four of the little fuzz butts yesterday! They spend about 12 hours or more in the incubator after breaking out of their shells and flopping around in the debris for a while and now they've be relocated into a Rubbermaid tub with a heat lamp and all of the fixings to keep them warm and happy. I hope we can get the other 8 from our original 12 eggs to hatch today. We put them in the incubator on the 30th of May and the first 4 all popped out within 10 hours of one another
