My husband should have only got 6 chicks. He came home with 13. Last year we kept the chicks in the house, but we only had 8. The extra chicks are making a huge dusty mess of my house. ( bad for allergies) Top it off they are a month old and getting too big for our brooder box. We don't think they are ready for the hen house and our other option is not insulated. The weather is still cool here. -5C over night. (23 F) Could we get away with moving the chicks to an un insulated shed? We have the heat light, we do have a red bulb and a white. only one lamp. We do have a dog heating pad. I think if all of them where on it it would switch on. Its weight triggered. I really need these chicks out of my house.
Thanks!

I have my meat king chicks outside in a tent garage that I can't get zippered shut, with a couple heat lamps. In an uninsulated building will be fine with a heat lamp
