4 week old americaunas what is their color pattern

There could be a variety of breeds involved in making an EE. For sure, somewhere in the past there was some Araucana blood in there to get the green/blue egg gene, but other than that, it's anyone's guess.

Technically they were always EE, no Araucana blood put in there. The EE's in hatcheries are mostly the same mutts they had before Ameraucanas and Araucanas were "invented" as a breed, and in fact, there's more Ameraucana type influence in there. Araucanas even back in the day were still quite rare. True rumpless, beardless ones.

Ive heard they were crossed with for instence Leghorn to boost egg production is this true?

Quite likely yes. Production Reds too. But there's no data out there confirming it.
