Hi guys :)

Due to a long story/exceptional circumstances, I have acquired a delightful little ball of fluff and joy who is currently 4-and-a-half weeks old.

He/she is feeding brilliantly on Exact formula every 5 hours (with 8 hour gap at night to ensure proper emptying of crop). He/she has also just started to pick at millet that is offered and available throughout the day in his brooder for a gradual and stress-free weaning process. All in all, a very happy, healthy and confident little fluffball.

I was wondering if anyone would have any guesses as to whether this baby is a male or female? I’m aware that at just over 4 weeks old, it’s quite tricky to tell. I personally thought he might be male, as he’s got rather a pinkish tinge to the cere rather than the bluish/white/pale one seen on a lot of baby females. But then again, I don’t really have a clue, haha!

Can anyone help me out here? I’d be mega grateful and interested for any any answers! (Pls excuse the food stuck to his head on the pics- he/she has worse table manners than me, haha)

Huge thanks, and hope you all stay safe and well! :)
