Just a few days ago, I posted about my BO with a wound on her wing and that there was some pecking going on. I have 12 chicks in a 4' x 4.5' pen in the garage. They really need room! The coop is not done yet, but part of the run is ready. Can they stay out there using a box/cave to sleep in? They had a box/cave in their garage pen, but I haven't used the seedling mat for about a week or more. When we got them at 2 weeks they all slept in there together. Lately, only some of them go in there for the night. I am in Maryland and it is supposed to go down to upper 60's tonight. The run is covered and predator proof (I hope!) Thanks!
