4 week old chicks outside

Hey all! I just put my 9 four-week-old chicks outside for the night. I have 2 heat lamps outside, do you think they will be warm enough? Any tips to keep them warmer? It should be about 40 degrees tonight and then 60 during the day.

Not a problem. Make sure its not too warm in there though. 2 heat lamps for 9 chicks is a lot of warmth.

I have 15-3 week olds all sharing a heating pad on a rack 35-40 at night, 60's during the day and they are thriving.

Sounds like too much heat actually. At 4 weeks they can be off heat or close to it, depending on temperatures. I'd work on weaning them off the heat completely first, then you can safely transition them outside without worrying about adjusting heat.
