4 week old chicks suddenly making noise.

Tonight my 9 hens and one rooster(I think) started making a bunch of noise like they got spooked. Went to check and the rooster was in the coop with a couple of the hens and the rest of the hens were in the run with the broilers. This was at dusk. Broilers were all bunched up ready for bed like usual. Once all the hens were in the coop they were still making noise. Replenished food and water, but shortly there after they were making noise again. This is the first time this has happened. Any ideas?

They probably did get spooked. Or maybe one was talking trash to another one and everyone had to get a word in. It doesn't take much for mine to start squawking.

Mine all make a racket at bedtime--getting their special places on the roost....
