my friend hatched 3 eggs for me. The father is a partridge Cochin. No clue who the mother is since she has a variety of hens.
What would you say about this based on pics- cockerel or pullet? Any idea what breed it might be? Last pic is with 5 week Barred Rock pullet and other sister who looks similar but smaller.
(Out of the 3, two look very similar and hatched together but one has always been bigger, more feathers on feet)

In some pictures the comb looks pink and other picture it looks pale. What color is the comb? That’s usually the first indication for me. It also looks like a cross between a Cochin and a Millie fluer to me!

Here are the 3 so you can see compared with the other 2 that hatched w it.

Seems to still be a little early to tell if you see a red comb or a start of red in the next two weeks you will definitely know if he/she is a rooster. Pullets take much longer before they develop red combs so you should get your answer very soon!!! I wish you the best of luck and please post a picture in the next two weeks cause my guess is a pullet, I want to know if I’m right! Hehehe!! Good luck!

Here’s updated photos almost 7 Weeks old. Thoughts??
