4 week old lavender Orpington

I’m going to vote pullet. Unless @The Moonshiner has a persuasive argument otherwise. I find it useful to wait with Lavender Orps. I had a tricky one a few years back that I swore was a cockerel…and lots of folks on here swore it was a cockerel. She’s still laying eggs
We love her so much so we are hoping pullet. What do you see that makes you think pullet? Thanks again for your opinion.

On second thought, it could be a cockerel. I looked back and found pics from when my Lav Orp rooster I used to have was a similar age and his comb was a similar size and red. His hatch mates, especially the Barred Rock, had big red combs early on and were easy to tell, but his was just red but small ish until around 8 weeks. And eventually, as an adult, he had the biggest comb and wattles I’ve ever seen LOL but yeah. Anyways, I’m on the fence now.

It’s not that I see something it’s that I don’t see anything either way so I am betting it’s a pullet. Because of the way lavender feathers are it’s sometimes hard to see male specific feathering until later than usual and because Orpington combs can pink up early I don’t count them out either way until it is much more obvious.
