Not sure if I am keeping her yet or not.
At the age of your puppy I work on stand in 2 ways. Capturing and marking and rewarding stand. I do this by standing in front of the puppy, walking or leaning enough into the pup that he stands, then at the same time I mark, say "stand", and reward.
From the side, as in obedience, with the pup in heel position, I bend or kneel, put my right hand on the chest to prevent the pup moving forward. If necessary, I slip a finger through the collar to keep control of the pup. Then I tickle or left in front of the rear leg to help the pup stand. Mark and name as the pup comes up into a stand, and reward. Eventually you fade everything except the voice command.
This makes a really pretty stand, where the dog kicks his rear legs out to stand and stays right in heel position.
