4 week old salmon faverolle

The coloring screams male in the last picture, but that tiny comb and everything else makes me think a pullet. Do you have any other pictures of it? I used to breed Salmon Faverolles, and I find that bird very interesting. It's not feathering in truly typical of the males I had either.

Here are a few pics at 12 weeks from today.

Let me know what you think

Those photos do make the bird appear more masculine. The comb appears larger in that set as well. He's a handsome little fellow. Are you not allowed to have males where you live?
I am unfortunately not allowed. I would definitively keep him... he is like a teddy bear, so laid back and calm. I got enough hens on my mix for now, but will look for salmon faverolle once the time comes to add new ones, they seem perfect to be around kids.

Both the males and the females are very docile. You might see if he's really quiet and keep him. If not perhaps the breeder would swap him out for a younger pullet?
