4 week old silkie | What color is it?

Was told this little one would be a blue partridge. If he's blue or anything else that I could use in breeding for bbs than I might keep him (I currently only have black adult silkies).

By the way crest feathers are growing in dark blue/black?
 
i was thinking a chocolate. Maybe a dark chockie. I’m not a 💯 sure tho. I have also never seem a blue partrige so I dont know how they would look. Sorry I’m noting being Very helpful.
 
I took some photos in more natural lighting. He definitely looks more on the bluer side. But I don't think blue chicks are supposed to be born brown.

Would breeding blue partridge to my blacks get me any proper colors or would they just be weird mixed colors?
Blue X Black = 50% Blue, & 50% Black. In your mixing of those you can get leakage in the hackles, Saddle areas. Black can hide alot of other colors too, like Gold, Silver, & Red for examples.
