I'm getting some 4 week old silkies soon to put in a separate flock with out other silkie, Baby. We're only getting 3 of them and I need some advice. Baby is a very kind and skittish chicken and I want her to be happy.

What is your question/concern?
How old is Baby?
How big is the coop/run you plan on putting them in?
Where are you going to keep the 4wk olds?

If you can give more information, we may be able to help you :)
I'm sorry Haha, Baby is a year in June. The run will be cut off from the other chickens. We were hoping to keep them together

Well, that depends on how agreeable Baby is:) You may have to integrate them with a see-don't-touch method as they get older. You may find that she doesn't have the Welcome mat out or she may be delighted to have company. Chickens are hard to figure out when it comes to introducing new birds.

Since these are older chicks, you may want to cage/quarantine them for a couple of weeks to observe them for any indication of illness before you put them with Baby and near the flock.
