This chick feathered much faster than he other chicks I have, although this is my only SLW- It has developed a pink tint to its rose comb as well as small wattles- Are the feathers a clue to anyone? I only have one and really wanted a hen! The pinking comb is bumming me out... ANY INPUT would be helpful!!

Kinda thinking the same, just holding on to the fact that it feathered really fast! The comb doesnt even look as pink the photo...

I would give it some more time. We had two SLWs last year that we were sure must be roos due to their combs and wattles. But both ended up being pullets! Ours pinked up early and then just didn't get bigger or more red until POL.

I have 9 week old SLWs, a cockeral and three pullets. The comb and wattles on the little boy are at least twice the size of those. Your's looks just like my pullets. I Hope I'm right! Cute little bird, either way!
