Hey, guys!
I got these 2 Serama chickies a week or two ago and am questioning whether they are cockerels or pullets at this point- as much as I would love to have a rooster, this area sadly does not allow them, so I am hoping, hoping, hoping for pullets! They are approximately 4 weeks old, give or take a few days. I'm getting concerned because they seem to be getting in a lot of little scuffles, similar to which my serama rooster did whenever he saw his reflection... He was my only serama so I do not have a lot of experience with seramas, and 0 with hens and their behavior, so I'd really appreciate some opinions here! :)

They look like pretty little pullets to me.

Yay! :)

Is it normal for the pullets to fight? They stand on their tip toes and puff out their neck feathers which reminds me a whole lot of my serama rooster, but he was my first rooster and only serama, so I don't know if it's just a serama thing or something

Females will settle a pecking order also, it's not strictly a rooster/Cockerel behavior.

So far they do look like pullets, but they're still pretty young to tell for sure. Can you post more pictures in a few weeks? It should be easier to tell their sex by then. :)
And both male and female chicks will puff up and spar each other, so that's not really anything to worry about.
