My 10 Bantams are only 4 weeks old and nearly fully feathered! Well, the Old English Game chicks are, not the little Dark Brahma, Tater, she's still very fuzzy. We already are pretty sure that 3 of the 10 are Roosters, two of which we will have to sell when we figure out who the better rooster is.

I had some spare time so I took a very quick video of them...we just put a new, higher perch in the tank, and this was the first time our only female blue (we have 3 blues, 2 are roosters), Piplup, flew up to it. Peachy spends the most time up there, and she's up on the perch for most of the video.

This is our second time raising chicks, but the first time with Bantams, and they're so much fun to raise!

Very cute!!

Hehe, they are <3

Oh my gosh, I'll be giving them mealworms today...they just got them for the first time two days ago, and they went crazy for them! I'll have to share more bad photography with you guys when they're eating :D

Ahaha, they just go crazy for them!

I already breed mealworms to feed my geckos, scorpions, tarantulas, and occasionally gerbils, so it's no problem for me XD They're very easy to breed, too, you just pick up a batch at the pet store, set up a kritter keeper with about 2" of chick feed (higher the protein the better) and give the wormies slices of potato once a week :) As long as they're at room temperature the meal worms will pupate and turn into beetles and make more mealworms quickly.
