4 weeks old / playing in grass

We took all of our chicks out to play in the grass for a few minutes today. They went out in breed groups just so we could keep track. It was really warm. Most of them loved it! I love spring. I'm going to want baby chicks every year.

The EEs were the cutest! They huddled around and on and behind my feet most of the time like I was mother hen.

How sweet! We were just reminiscing yesterday about when our 'ladies' were babies and we let them play outside for the first time.

We had our girls outside today for about an hour and they LOVED it. They stay together pretty closely and one of them got a prize worm and the other two chased her around with it.

We just let our 1 week old & 2 week olds out yesterday. It was just too beautiful out not to.
