I am new to chickens & bought 4 Jersey Giant chicks. They are now four weeks old and about an hour ago one swallowed a narrow (1/4") strip of felt 2" long. She has eaten food afterward. Should I feed her bread? What do I need to watch for? As my signature line shows, I am dealing with meds for several diseases so must try to sleep now, but will be awake and checking for suggestions about 6am Pacific time. Thanks.
