4 wk duckling Picture added.

I had 1 ducking hatch and he is hanging with 14 chicks. I am worried about him as he seems slow, like he is depressed or something. He is on starter food. Should I be worried about him? I have 4 ducklings that are a week old so they are too little to join him. Any suggestions?

Please somebody can you help me. We ended up putting him with the week old babies. He looks so funny. Still he looks so serious. He has no spunk. I am worried but he doesn't seem sick.

Personally I would go ahead and let him stay with the other ducklings. Perhaps some crushed up niacin (brewers yeast) tablets in his food will perk him up some. Or some fresh greens.
I put my 1 month old mallard drake with 3 mallard gals that were 11 days old, he is still with them and he's such an adorable "surrogate" Mamma with them.
