4 wk old pekin ducks just starting on brewers yeast

i put about a teaspoon of brewers yeast in with their food. i knew i had to do something before it got too late and i ordered it with 2 day delivery didnt care about cost at the time. its not nearly as bad as pictures i see but on both of my little guys one leg is turned alot more then the other and they step in the other foot and stumble... i am so scared they wont get better and upset i messed up/failed them in a way and didnt get brewers yeast the week i brought them home. theyre on chic starter feed- almost done with the bag and then i will start the feed you suggested. they will probably be about 6 weeks when they finish this feed. the night b4 i recieved the yeast i went to walmart to look for the tablets and couldn't find anything that wasnt "flush free" so i brought home brewers yeast tablets and i believe flush free caps but didnt use either bc i didnt think they were the right ones. if you could help me out, would you mind including a link on Amazon.com of correct niacin tablets i should order? i am just heartbroken for my little babes

@Miss Lydia
@ljrazzy It needs to be 1 Tablespoon per cup of feed. and you don't need niacin if your using Brewers yeast. But you have to give the correct doses. Brewers yeast tablets from Walmart are most likely okay they would just have to be crushed.

There is always a chance they will never fully recover and will stay pigeon toed but they brewers yeast will help them gain the strength they need and give them water therapy also.
Make sure they can safely get in and out of their pool. Never where they have to jump.

My duckling is about 10 weeks now and going on week 2 of Niacin and going to switch to brewers yeast tomorrow...chances of duckling recovering? Thoughts?

I am having something similar with my 3 month old pekin, Waffles. I noticed he had some pigeon toed but he seemed to get around pretty good and would run with the others just fine. But, this last week or so, he seems to not move around as much and we checked his legs and one of them is swollen. He loves to get in his little pool but usually naps after getting out and his energy seems to drain quickly. I ordered some nutritional yeast and it came in yesterday so we immediately sprinkled some on a handful of oats and he gobbled it down. We did the same this morning. He eats and drinks fine, but is definitely limping and not walking unless he has to. I have no idea where a duck vet is in my area, but thought I would contact BEAKS tomorrow and see if they can point me in the right direction. I read some about a slipped tendon or an infection. I would appreciate any advice and dosing directions for the yeast. Is it ok to give to him twice a day? He so sweet and I hate to see him like this. (We call him a he, but we aren't really sure, lol)
