These RIR chicks were bought at the same time. They were both suppose to be pullets, but Im starting to questions the bigger one. It has always been a little bigger than the other. Its comb is a little bigger but not red. It seems to be feathering a little faster too but not by much. The pics don't really show the differences as well as I would have hoped but the bigger one has a considerably longer tail and much bigger feet. Any thoughts? Maybe these differences can be normal and I am worried for nothing?
I have been posting pics of most of my chicks this morning....trying to weed out all the roos!

They are probably just days apart in age. My RIR (I think isn't an RIR but a Ameraucana) is MUCH bigger than the barred rock and they were 1 day apart.
Also, I have 18 chicks that are 2 weeks starting today. If they hatched on the same day they are all approximately the same size with the Thursday nights being the biggest and the Sunday mornings being the smallest.
If it does turn out you have a roo, keep him until you have yourself some fertile eggs and then move him out and hatch out the eggs. Then you'll have some fun watching it, plus get more pullets.
They are super cute!

Thanks so much for the replies! I am feeling better now.....was a little worried for a awhile there because I already have 3 roos I have to find homes for.
