Another thread made me interested in designing a small coop for up to 4 full size chickens... it might be Henry's new home lol. I picked 4'x4' so the floor could be made from 1/2 sheet of plywood. Most home improvement stores will sell 1/2 sheets. I'll start with the floor framing. Note the bottom 2x4's are only on 3 sides, I'll reveal my mad scientist scheme as I go along. My goal is a proper design with only a skill saw and possibly an impact driver... and well if you have a Kreg pocket hole jig all the better but nails will do. I'll see how much I can get drawn up this weekend.

This is my brooder for my ducks it measures 2’ h x 4’ w x 8’ l and is 4 foot off the ground. I used a skill saw, a impact drill driver and a hammer.
