My Orpington hasn’t been eating for days, and I’ve been tempting her with treats. I noticed she had a pale comb and kind of hanging back not foraging.
She has white discharge around her vent, but she has always had a messy bottom. I bathed her and dried the area off about a week ago. She manages to get in the coop at night but laying on the floor. I could bathe her again and clean the area with
Chlorohexidine but it didn’t look that irritated when I bathed her last. I haven’t separated her as I know that will stress her and she seems happier trying to stay with the flock. I could try to worm the flock because I have never done that, in case it is some type of parasite. Any input on how to treat her and make her comfortable is appreciated.

How does her crop feel first thing in the morning before she has eaten or drunk anything? Has she molted recently? Can you post pictures of her droppings? How long ago was she laying eggs? Albendazole (generic Valbazen) can be used for worming 0.5 ml orally once and repeated in 10 days. Here is a link for small quatities:

And she hasn’t laid eggs for awhile, probably weeks. But not a lot of egg laying happening for most of my larger ones since the cold.

Yes, you can worm with a wormer such as albendazole (generic Valbazen) 1/2 ml orally, and repeat in 10 days. It is found online. Or most feedstores sell fenbendazole 10% or SafeGuard Liquid Goat wormer, and dosage is 1/4 ml per pound given for 5 consecutive days. Those work gradually so they don’t cause problems. One that only treats roundworms is Aquasol. Follow instructions on the label. Here is where to find albendazole online in small quantities:
