I am in need of re-homing my 4 year old drake. He has become overly aggressive to 1 of the 3 females we have for him. In February we got him 2 new females to try and cull his enthusiasm and shortly after his life long partner passed away.
Since then we got him a third female. we had a second drake that spent his retirement before his passing with all 3 ladies and we had the best harmony. After his passing this drake moved in with the ladies. Since then he is very aggressive to her: He will not let her eat, swim, or clean herself, and she is looking rough.
I was hoping after 2 months of things could calm down. This has not been the case. Currently my Male does not go up with the females for the night and my other female is kept in a separate pond during the day. I am looking for him a nice home.
