40 WEEKS and I got my first GREEN EGG!!! (pics)

I can't believe it!!!!! I just assumed I got two Easter Eggers who lay beige eggs, when today I saw GREEN!!!! At 40 weeks I assumed there was no green in my future. Last night she didn't look good and she was panting. I put her down by the water and she didn't want to drink.

We have just re-located the chickens this week and they are not happy. She had been getting henpecked this last week and I thought she was panting because she was sick. I guess she was just ready to lay her first egg.

Has anyone had a chicken lay that late???

Anyway, I am just so excited I had to share!!! Woot Woot

He's way bigger than the photos. I think he weighs at least 4 pounds.
