They should be fine. Wouldn't hurt to put wood shavings down deep enough that they can scooch down in it for extra warmth if they need to. Chickens do a lot better in extreme cold than they do in extreme heat, as long as they're dry & out of drafts.Next week we are supposed to have -40 degrees fahrenheit with windchill what do I do?! That's quite the comb. I try to avoid large comb breeds here if I can. She looks like she's wearing a hat.![]()
