48 hours worth of snow.. ugh

    my chickens will not even budge out the door.. can't say as i blame them.. this is all in 48 hours and we are expecting it to snow for another 3 days.. welcome to upstate ny. i hate snow!!!!

    *sigh* I love snow. [​IMG] We have only about 4 inches right now, but this weekend we are getting even more. I grew up in MI right next to the lake, so we got tons of lake effect... and I still love it. As long as the electricity doesn't go out. [​IMG]

    we average about 170+ inches a yr.. lake effect.. from lake ontario. if you look close you can see where hubby plowed the back yard so we could get to the coops. we also installed a whole house generator because being in the back woods the power goes out alot..

    Now thats when i like the look of snow...
    All clean and pretty ..

    Then it starts to melt and freeze and get dirty looking... [​IMG]
    But i always love the first good heavy snow...
