*There is a young hen in this pen, she is laying the same size eggs as the older girls, so I can't pick out her eggs to leave out!*

I'd say the egg color is about a 4 on the Marans scale, but my idea of a shade and yours may vary! ;p

6 Eggs Americanas/Easter Eggers
Colors vary on both the chickens and the eggs, I get a variety of colors and you will too! I think the egg color is a blue to blue green, some lay a more of an light olive green, and one lays a pinky/peachy color egg.

I have a couple white hens, one silver and a whole bunch of partridge or variations of partridge. Fertility has been good on these, even with my lousy incubating skills. Chicks have been super hardy and robust too.

I have selected my Americanas on hardiness, temperment and egg laying ability.

6 Olive Egger/Barred Americana Project Eggs

I also will include 6 eggs from my Olive egger or Barred Americana Project. These are Brown eggs, the hens from these eggs should lay an olive green egg, some may be Olive Egger Americana Sex links from my Barred Rock hen as well. These chicks have been very hardy in all my hatches so far this year.
