Can a young Silkie (around 4 months old) compete in 4H?

I judge it by how feathered the bird is. Is it feathered enough to be judged?

I'm sure it will be fine in the show! I've seen very young birds at 4-H shows before.

If it's for showmanship you'd be fine, though for conformation I'd just fluff her up to be safe

Ok, thank you. I've hatched 2 batches of silkies a couple months back and I forgot to put when they hatched so now I have no clue on what age they are! 6 of them look the same while the other 3 are a lot smaller. How much should one weigh at 3 months or 4 months of age?

My adults silkies are a little over 2 pounds. The first batch of silkies are a little over a pound and the second batch are a little over 8 oz. any ideas on age? Both batches are all feathered and fluffy. The second batch could be more feathered though.
