My grandchildren received this chickens as part of the 4H pick a chick project. We are getting ready for fair can anyone help Id and sex them?
 
I do not know about the first one. But the second one is a rode island red hen. and the third one I believe is a Easter egger rooster. But really I am not sure... So what for other people that now the breeds better

Same here. Just the last appears to be a roo. Beautiful color and definately an EE or Americauna with that little comb, green legs, and cheek tufts. The first clearly has white earlobes, defining characteristic of the leghorns, also she should have more comb, nice and big and floppy by the time she's ready to lay. The next is clearly a red sex-link (sometimes called red or gold "star" or "cinamon queen" or some other proprietary name), she's not a straight RIR as she has a good bit of white on the tail feathers and laced through the hackle. RIRs have black tips to the tail and very rich solid red everywhere else. Also looks like a nice buff orpington pullet just behind her. Good luck in the 4-H!

Thank you so much. The roo seems to be the kids favorite and so far he is very gentle with the kids.
