4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

No, I wasn't clear. The pictures submitted had to be in by midnight. And quail weren't done until today, in fact people were still adding chicken eggs today, and so how would their eggs be counted toward the total number set?
See?

Honestly, I don't know. Button quail aren't supposed to go in until Sunday, so that doesn't make any sense to me at all, if they cut off submissions. I thought that was just for the chicken eggs. :/

My bad. I forgot about Buttons. Pictures can be posted until Sunday PM. No more chicken eggs will be counted after today, though.

Does that mean I can still post my picture of chicken eggs? I just added some yesterday but was too busy to be able to take a picture plus I had eggs hatching from you. Wonderful hatch, by the way. Thank you. I posted on swap page.

Yes you may. The just need to be set by 7 PM local time. I'd like all pictures but quail eggs posted ASAP, though.

I set my coturnix the day they came in, around 11pm. I was actually 13 hours early to set for the date, so they won't be counted for the first chick out. But, not sure about the buttons set two days early?

Also, I think my eggs might "cheat" on the first chick hatched. The chicken eggs set to hatch today actually hatched yesterday and through the night. Who knows what my duck eggs will do, their parents hatched three days early and the one that's due next Friday looks awfully full to wait another week to hatch. I can count myself out of the first chick hatched though, if that's going to be a problem. My incubator runs at about 100F (thermometer only measures in a full degree increment, and the other one is a dial thermometer that I can't exactly read to the tenth of a degree either, lol)

First hatchling after midnight needed to be set at noon or later on the appropriate day. Any of these that hatch early are jist that, early. First after midnight needs to wait until midnight.
