4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

I know, we got it more than anyone up north. We are in Spanish Fork, up on a bench right by a canyon. We got more than Orem and Provo and Salt Lake!
I don't mind. :) It's going to get down to around 9 degrees tonight, thankful for a nice warm home. My chickens have their heat lamps.

Tomorrow will get up to low 40's! Melting snow for sure!
How weird, I have NO snow up here in Idaho. :p

It got into the mid teens here last night and tonight's low is only 24! That isn't too bad :) And if we can hit 36* tomorrow, I just may pull out my shorts!

For anyone wondering, I am switching to my RoyalT account because this screen name just reminds me that I no longer have my goats every time I see it. :) Just an FYI

Oh noes! Is this normal, or did this eggie die :( ???

This is the only one that's not MOVING of my eight.... and... inside it looks dark and no veining like the others.... and it is all sorts of weird looking. :(

Just had a serious candling session and pulled 21 eggs. Man oh man! I may just be in the running for the worst hatch rate prize!!
Yeahhh right there with ya! Down to 21 of 60 set! And it's not even close to lockdown =/ I think I want to write a letter to the Post Master General about how bad my boxes get shaken up...

Ya.. mail packages sometimes go in big assembly lines and they roll along the belts, and then the trucks bump and such... *le-sigh*

I think so far I have pulled 26 of 54? I will have to go back and check my logs, just too tired at the moment. Suppose I will just go to bed now! I am feeling very ill anyway.
