I was wondering the same thing as I threw out 3 dozen of infertile eggs the other day.

I feed mine to the pigs.

So, an update on my problems. There is no zoning map.

I have no idea what's wrong with my city, but I have the feeling I fall into the agriculture zone. I'm not going to worry about it for now. We have good neighbors that know they can come to us if they have a problem with our animals. I'm not about to call and tell on myself.

I candled again last night and pulled way more eggs than I really wanted to believe were gonners. USPS did a number on my shipped eggs. I'm now down to 10 eggs out of 35. 5 serama and 5 rir/rir cross. There's one I'm not sure about and not willing to just toss out yet.

I went hunting this morning and saw 12 deer. This is a picture I took with my cell phone. You can see a gobbler(male turkey) and a small 7 point buck. Both were feeding in the food plot. Sorry image is grainy.

Great Turkey Photos! I saw a flock of them on my way to work Wednesday. One of the boys was displaying his feathers for the females!

Just candled again. One egg turned stinker on me, so I pulled #7. But that evens out since one of the three new eggs I set is clearly growing. I'll call it a wash!

We have over 500 wild turkeys on our place EASY! We declared war on them, as they peck our wheat down to the dirt, eat all the corn we put out for the deer, and so on.
