mstricer- so have you had chicks hatch from pullet eggs? I'm trying to teach my kids, and I can't find any info on this! Thanks!

For the swap I said ship Dec 7 or 8. I have the fastest shipment when I ship on Sat (except to Arkansas and Va)

I've definitely had chicks hatch from pullet eggs. Very first egg from my bantam columbian wyandotte hatched.

I have hatched pullet eggs but the chicks don't seem to thrive as well as they do from eggs after the girls have been laying 4-6 weeks.

I will be setting some EE's on the 11th then having surgery on the 12th to remove a cancer tumor removed from my left kidney. So I will in for sure.

Goodness, dadsdeercamp, that's a tough one! I'll be praying for a full remission and good health to you! Take good care of yourself now! Chicks should cheer you up (who wouldn't be cheered by chicks?) so actually it should be a good distraction.
