This was the result of a whitening shampoo for livestock. That's one less going to the show.

We used to use woolight on our sheep before shows

CPL... how do we go about donating to the many contest going on, and does it have to be a big item, for instance say a gift certificate, do we get it and send it to you or keep ahold of it untill we find out who wins it.?? Do we say what contest it is for or let that up to you ?? why am I getting strange looks when I say I will not be going out for new year's because I will be on BYC.?

What a night up till 2:30 with kidney pain wanting to cut the cancer out myself. Then get woke up by DW and told the water is frozen come to find out at 7:00 the pump is dead. Come in the house to find the incubator unplugged and down to 67 degrees. Don't know what I'm going to do for water.

Dont risk eggs not arriving on time. USPS can take 3-4 days and if weather goes bad even longer to get priority boxes delivered. If you are ordering hatching eggs you need to make sure you communicate with the seller you need them before X date to be able to set them on time. that way if the seller doesnt think they will have them on time you right away.

I agree. And remember to allow a 24 hour resting period for shipped eggs. If one puts them in right away after receiving them, there is a much greater chance of weird shaped air pockets that result in the embryo dying early. At least, that has been my experience.

On another note. If there are NYD hatchers in southern New Hampshire looking for fertile eggs, I could supply a couple dozen ($4.00/dz which is what I sell them for, for eating). At this time of year, I mix everyone together (fewer frozen water buckets to contend with), so the eggs are a mixture (black copper Marans cock or Black Am cock over Am girls, Marans, and olive eggers, for the most part). PM me if you are interested.
