I got a pip!

This is our lonely only chick, cheering on the one other sort of hatching egg. The chick keeps chirping, but doesn't get any replies!




This is the junk in the bottom of the egg.

Perfectly normal.

Went to see the emergency... Kids had to do barn chores...

Got back home and went to check the bator... Still nothing...

Pretty sure I'm not winning the first chick out after midnight contest...

I'm with you! I went and checked on the eggies about an hour ago and all I had was one lil 'ole pip.

Just moved 17 to the brooder. have a lone silkie hatched and drying now. several contenders tho

Once again I'm 250+ posts behind

Ah well, I just swiped 31 chicks out of the hatcher and had to show and tell:

Awww! How adorable....I would like about 10 X that many.....so sweet!

We have a half a zipper! At this rate, it may be here before midnight. Come on second pip, get moving!

Not seeing any activity on the turkey eggs I had what looked like good growth and development!
