Yes!! It is! I breed them and have 8 of them various ages. Have a litter planned for this spring actuallyRavenwood, That is a Saluki in the picture! I have 2 whippets and used to show them and also Italian Greyhounds!
Very cute ... Funny, they look just like my Ameraucana X chicks - I have a blue and a yellow grey one.So we need to work on our camera skills around here (as well as hatching skills but...) Here are my two NYDH chicks "B" & "K" still working on letter correct names, nearly sure B is a boy he acts like a roo, he has actually been finding food and calling K over and giving it to her like a Roo trying to make nice w/ a hen! & KThis is B (Maran over Ameraucana) see the fuzzy on the face, ok well it is there IRL
B streching his neck, K in background saying What's Up?

Where do we input our final hatch? Finally had the last chick hatch, and unfortunately, looks like I get to kill it now.Cross beak and part of the skull is missing, so the top knot of the skull is to the right and no eye on that side.![]()

Dear Hatchers and Non Hatchers,
I just wanted to THANK all of you for making the 4th Annual NYD a success. As you probably know, this was the first time any of my team or I led a hatch and then to lead one of this size was overwhelming.
I found as we were getting closer to the hatch date, it was more difficult to remain caught up. There was frustration felt by some of you that my team and I were not answering questions posted in the thread. It had been requested numerous time to PM with questions but I fear those requests were also lost in the thread.
My team had everything set up and ready to roll on Dec 10. At this time, there were requests from higher ups to change stuff. This caused a ton of stress for my team. There were many times that some of us were ready to throw in the towel.
Each of us on my team have had personal issues pop up. As a result, it became more difficult to devote the time needed to the 4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long. Reading criticism of our running of the hatch added to our personal burdens. I value constructive criticism, especially when solutions/offers to help are given.
I truly value all of you and am glad that you all participated. Please bear with us as we wrap up the contests. At that time I will have made my final decision as to if I will host another hatch or not. After the events of Dec 10, I told higher ups that I would not host another, but decisions can be changed. I do know some of my team will not be continuing for another hatch. I will make my decision soon enough to be able to give somebody else plenty of time to get things organized.
Thank you all for making this a great SUCCESS!

You are just too funny, Deb! Guess I've been using the wrong music - Big Hair Band rock may be a little too tough on their sensitive ears. What, you don't train your chicks???? I had to shut off the chorus line music to get them to stand still for the pictures!
