4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

Hello everyone, just had a quick question about this NYD hatch-a-long. I went ahead and signed up because I am planning to set a few eggs and kinda follow along with all of you, but but then I got to wondering do I really NEED to be signed up if I don't plan on actually playing any of the games? Is it ok to hatch along and not play any of the games? LOL sorry, its redundant but I just don't want to make anyone's job harder than it has to be.

BYC has some wonderful prizes. If you don't sign up, they don't know how many are hatching along. Some of the prizes being awarded are due to the fact that they feel a goodly number of folks are viewing their product that's being given away as a prize.

Always sign up even if you aren't participating in any of the contests.

Ahh I see. Well I signed up with the page that says to enter my BYC name but I dont see it on the list as of yet lol. Maybe I will try a few of the contests but there are so many to choose from LOL.

I signed up for the contest, but didn't set any eggs this go around. Too many mixing of breeds.. I'll wait until the Easter Hatch-along. I'll still keep tabs on this contest though

I'm participating in the hatch-along but I am not participating in the contests. Partially because I wanted my eggs hatching on new year's eve and new year's day so I set them late last night. And, partially because I don't have a camera to take any sort of pictures, and won't have a camera until the 14th or the weekend following. Nope, no cell phone to take pictures with (can't stand cell phones). In any case...if you don't want to participate in the contests you don't have to. I choose to come for the hatch-along, conversation and peeking at other peoples' pictures.

Is it too late for pics for these contests? Here is my picture for the SUNNYSIDE UP MICRO FARMS HOLIDAY POULTRY PHOTO CONTEST. I'm not sure what this means: "and the post number in the comments so we don't miss them." This is Henrietta, my silver laced Poland hen, out for a walk in the snow on a mild winter's day! Edited to say sorry - I read much further down the thread that you didn't want us to post on the main thread. Please let me know where to post this.

Don't need a camera to guess how many eggs, and ou could end up with a Brinsea!
