Absolutely pure Serama are supposed to be 19 days.My Serama all hatched on Day 21
Good point and well made!C'mon now! You know you wanna!
Don't need a camera to guess how many eggs, and ou could end up with a Brinse
You will want to post your pix of the eggs you set at the very least so you are in the count for the "How Many Eggs Set" contest.Ahh I see. Well I signed up with the page that says to enter my BYC name but I dont see it on the list as of yet lol. Maybe I will try a few of the contests but there are so many to choose from LOL.
Of course you do, it's fun! LOLHello everyone, just had a quick question about this NYD hatch-a-long. I went ahead and signed up because I am planning to set a few eggs and kinda follow along with all of you, but but then I got to wondering do I really NEED to be signed up if I don't plan on actually playing any of the games? Is it ok to hatch along and not play any of the games? LOL sorry, its redundant but I just don't want to make anyone's job harder than it has to be.
I don't see why not, I mean as long as you can deal with a staggered hatch! You'd have to wait at least 3 days before deciding that some aren't going to develop and at that point, you're not going to be able to "cheat" on the closest to midnight hatch thingy......... Oh, it might affect the hatch rate competition though....Have a important question. Nah, they're just a bit more sensitive to warmer temps and will develop fast if the incubator runs warmer. That's why this time I'm trying to run mine cooler.Absolutely pure Serama are supposed to be 19 days.
Awesome pictures! I especially love the middle one, looks like a rubber duckie in the tub, LOL
There really wouldn't be a reason to post pictures, if you're not doing one of the competitions that require it, no? I just don't see why people would report the number set falsely...... Of course if they want to do a competition, like hatch rate or something, I can see needing a picture, but ultimately, except for the big prize competitions, I can't imagine people cheatingYou will want to post your pix of the eggs you set at the very least so you are in the count for the "How Many Eggs Set" contest.
Oops, read on down & saw you don't have a camera. Now I'm wondering if they are going to count all eggs from everyone who is signed up or only from people who are able to verify their count with pix. Can someone please shed some light on this 1![]()
