Oh No!! I feel your pain, we go away every New Year's Eve. Last year we drove to the beach with a bator of actively hatching eggs on my lap. Haven't decided what I'm going to do this year.
Awwww!
I have a car adaptor for my Genesis 1588's. More than once I've taken incubators with us on vacation. I actually had to shut them down in October though when we flew to Mexico, I don't think the TSA would have understood incubators full of eggs. And can you see me going to the pilot and saying............"Mind if I plug this into your cigarette lighter?"![]()

Oh lucky! I'm dying to get some. As soon as I get an aviary built I'll get some.I have a car adaptor for my Genesis 1588's. More than once I've taken incubators with us on vacation. Awwww!
Actually we just got some ducks, but all little tiny things...............a pair each of mandarins, wood ducks and ringed teals. I love to watch them perch on the highest branch (6 ft up) in their pen. Cute!

You could keep a pet Call inside, all you need to do is order a diaper! I've been tempted to get a diaper for some of my Calls oh and of course my Sebbies, too!Falling more in love with the little Call ducks...but I cannot... CANNOT have ducks. My extremely patient and non-complaining neighbors might go over the edge if I had anything else that made birdy sounds out there. >.< They are super cute though. I saw several at the poultry show I went to south of me, a few months ago. They are adorable!

I bought power bars that plug into a cigarette lighter. I just found those on amazon for less than $20. Then I found one on the GQF website made specifically for the Genesis 1588. It was around $10-15 I think, so I bought it. You just unplug the power adapter in the middle of the cord from the incubator and it plugs right into the cord from the lighter plug. My Honda Ridgeline has a power plug in the middle console for the back seat, so I don't even have to have a cord running across the middle. I've used it twice to Oregon and once to Tahoe. It works GREAT! I highly recommend it.

I had 2 boxes that said delivery conformation for Dec. 10th. I got a call early this morning that one box had arrived and then about an hour later another call that the 2nd box arrived on their second truck. There were major gaps in both shipments. One had it leaving their sorting facility on Monday and the other was stuck on Saturday. There is still hope!!!Was there a big gap in the updates on delivery confirmation? At this rate, I just might have quail eggs to set for NYD hatch, lol. That's if I'm lucky and they don't sit lost for another week or never arrive.
