Hey hatchers,
I'm only 37 pages behind after my Temper Tantrum on Monday. I'm going to try and catch up but does anybody want to give me some cliff notes?

Jim, a bunch of people have been chatting about poultry and stuff. How's that for the cliff notes version?

Yes there wasn't anything for the last two days until it delivered. Sent on the 8th, was scheduled to deliver the 10th, didn't update again until this morning and I received it today.

Whew! Awesome, thank you very much! That definitely makes me feel a little better. Hopefully they get here soon, otherwise they'll probably end up being too old to even hatch from!

Ah, I've been told I was a great shopper. In my kitchen remodel, I found a $3,990 wall unit for $1,219. It was a customer return from delivery because of a tiny scratch on the side (inside the cabinets). I think it also languished at the Outlet because it was black, but I was buying all black appliances. SS shows all the dog nose prints, LOL

See, jsut have a short short dog and all is well!
In my mind button are the same as coturnix... but now I cant remember for sure, becuse I had such terrible hatches of buttons.

Ohhhh....I have Brinsea Envy....and Call Duck Envy.
Did someone mention that their DH was freaked out by the 5 toed Silkies? My DH has never been close enough to any of the chooks to count their toes. This CAN and does work to my advantage as he never knows how many we have. (Nor do I most of the time!)
No eggs at PO again today, guess I will be waiting until this last box arrives before taking and posting my picture.

That was me! I just snuck in a little 3 yr old Buff Silkie into the pen after I dropped him off at work this morning. Wonder if he will notice!!!

[COLOR=000000]I finally became a member of BYC a few days ago after seeing information about the[/COLOR] [COLOR=000000]4th Annual BYC New Year Day Hatch-along.  What FUN!!!  As a new member, I had no idea how very additive BYC is and very exciting to see what other people are doing.  It occurred to me last night how lucky I am to have an automatic egg turner.  I grew up on a 100 acre ranch in[/COLOR] [COLOR=000000]Texas[/COLOR] [COLOR=000000]and remember my Mother turning eggs in our “little brown hen” incubator.  Loved seeing the chicks hatch as a child and very exciting to share this with my own children.[/COLOR]

Blarneyeggs - I love the beautiful iris in your avatar.  It makes me  - Spring will eventually be here!

Well, Thank You! This Iris was my mother's and was her favorite, it is very special to me.

Thanks for all the good vibes on the eggs....but still no show. My tracking number shows them still in LIttle Rock. Is a road trip in order? or perhaps I should search out some quail to fill the bator...can't have a half full bator now, right?

Anyone ever have a yellow chick hatch out of Rhode Island Red eggs before?

Not quite yellow, but more of a brownish yellow and that was with hatchery stock RIRs. Is it full or crossed? (not so sure that really matters since I have a RIR over BA and the chicks still come out black and white)
