(chuckling) does he know that the one wasn't fertile, or did you let him think another one was the one he put in..it is a cute avatar. We think we can't wait, he looks like he's pretty excited too.

We had two green ones, so I'm letting him think the green one still in there (and for sure I saw shadows moving on the shell last night... it's a very dark green, so hard to see into....) is the first one. I've been frustrated for the two that started to develop and then died... that's frustrating for sure.... but at least we have eight silkie eggs shipping... should be here in the next 2 days of so. ^.^

I found free range eggs at the grocery store! So of course I bought a dozen. I'll crack 2 of them open tonight to see if they are fertile, if one is, I'll put the other eggs in the incubator.
