You can see the box I made for my big belly chick. I told my DD I was going to call her "Weeble" and she says, "What's a Weeble??" I'm old.....

Haha, if you're old, I'm ancient because my daughter played with Weebles. I had a hen named Weebles, she was a mutt chicken who was tailless.

My largest egg has been pipped all day, but now I see that there is a little more of it pipped.  Will probably be all night like the Nankin.  If it makes it to morning, that is the due date.  Hope to see other pips by morning.   My little Nankin is starting to call for someone, anyone.  I go in, and she hides under the towel, until I pick her up she is afraid.  Cute little stink.

That large egg is zipping.  I can hear the Nankin screaming in the other room, she must be able to hear the other one, which has a pretty good voice already!  Larger baby!  :D
I now have nine hatched 2 yellows one with s blavk spot ine its back. And 7 black and silvers. 4 of which have yelow on top of head tips of wings butt and slightly on their neck. Which bewilders me why. 5 to go and 3 are pippes and one is working on coming out. Pics as soon as i get them in brooder. Probly in morn.

where in Texas are you? depending on breed I would be interested...the two that hatched didn't survive...long story and don't want to talk about it...brooder got compromised some how and dogs well yeah...i'm still Perry sore about the whole situation. anyway, where are ya?
OK, so I sent 16 of the NYD chicks, and 10 NYD ducklings to their new home to a fellow BYC. I hope she enjoys them! I still have two ducklings, and a bunch of chicks to find homes for. I posted an ad on Craigslist and I'm thinking about posting one on BYC as well. Anybody in Texas looking for some biddies?

The boys love the NYD chickies. Seven "Baby Kevins"! Hooray.

I'll have you know that brooder was spotless at 7am when I left for work. They've been busy, little buggers.

Thomas sporting the chapped lip look (he's a hand gnawer when playing on the computer)

and Tyler talking to his baby Kevins.
