Good morning all! So how many of you hatch-aholics have another batch cooking? I'm going to start collecting for my Valentines day hatch pretty soon. Although come to think of it, last year I had a Ground Hog Day hatch. I have some Silver Penciled Rock/Iowa Blue eggs on hold, maybe I should stick them in.

Just put in 16 Araucana eggs yesterday.

I put three silkie cross eggs in my mini incubator. I think my one Silkie is broody again. Doesn't she know that it is the middle of January in Northern Minnesota? Crazy girl!

I did lose one of the 4 that I hatched. My black Silkie cross failed to thrive, wouldn't eat/drink on its own, even though it was walking well but peeped constantly.

I just put in my second set and today will go the rest as soon as I clean the other incubator. The first set went in NYD, can't have too many days without pippers to stare at.

I started a batch of 49 last night: EE/OE & Cuckoo Marans mixes. I already had batches set to hatch from today until these go into lockdown. I'll be running a staggered hatch pretty much all the time. My only variance is on quantity of eggs set. Sometimes I only have a few cooking & sometimes all 4 bators are full.

ooooh, you are a true blue bonafide hatchaholic! Good for you! LOL. I'm trying to save a little space in my yard to add a few of my own hatched eggs in the spring (everyone's still to young to lay

) But I think it would be far too fun to get my own eggs to hatch, so I'm gonna wait ;)

My goodness, Sally, they really must go through water like there is no tomorrow! LOL, I never catch my two at the water, they worry me! Darn those babies are killer cute (makes me want some so bad but hubby'd kill me, LOL)

What a colorful batch of eggs, Silkiesensation! That looks like a birthday cake, LOL, good enough to eat!
